Njemac Michael Naumann pobjednik je prvenstva Njemačke u speedu.
Sa stranica Exoceta: Congratulations to Michael Naumann – the 2008 German Speed Champion; Extract; “Friday morning the long awaited winds arrived, - 25 knots Easterly and increasing. In the first run I used my well tuned in Warp Slalom 62 with the Blade 7.5, but the wind already hit 30 knots and more, so I changed immediately to the Warp Slalom 56 with a 6.8.
I was impressed of the easiness of the board after the first ride! The very messy one meter chop made it extremely difficult to find the “fast track”, but I had confidence in my set up and reached top speeds over 36 knots. The wind increased even more and I changed down to 6.2 m² at the end of the race. In the end I won five out of seven races this year and with two discards, the championship ranking was secured to defend my title. After a less windy championship in 2007 I could finally prove that I am competitive in higher winds as well.
